I bought this because some of my friends were playing with quadcopters (drones). First let me say that this requires some serious hand-eye coordination. I was told to buy a cheap drone to learn the basics and yesterday I found out why. I flew on a windless day, but apparently the wind was pretty strong at a certain altitude. I got high and the wind took the drone and I lost it. One of those good lessons to learn, the wife wasn't happy, but I still enjoy learning and playing with interesting things. A general note: I'm in my early 50's and your reaction speed and coordination naturally decrease with age. A friend of mine has a racing quadcopter (late 40's) and he said he just couldn't react fast enough to fly it well. It's not a race quad but remember, now I see why he said that, that's what you should focus on. The camera takes pretty decent videos (see attachment). I shot a video at our beach house, I thought it wasn't bad for a cheap quadcopter and a very inexperienced pilot (less than 2 hours of practice). I will buy another. Pros: Inexpensive Great for the money Cons: Requires very good hand-eye coordination.
