My remote controls became very weak and slow to respond if at all even with a new battery. They barely unlocked the doors. I ordered this and just replaced the circuit board (the part with the battery attached) with this new FOB. Now it works great! The contacts will wear out over time, so try swapping out the circuit boards in this new FOB first. If that doesn't work, you still have the new FOB and can get it to program. I order a second one. Now all buttons and functions that were native in my car work!
