This chair held nearly four bags of "beans," or tiny styrofoam balls, scattered all over the house and floor. The instructions included a suggestion to fill the chair in the bathtub. There is no place in the bathroom for this dirty process! We started with three bags. (We were supposed to finish at two, but they barely filled a chair!) You really need to buy FOUR BAGS of beans. My little son is 13 and three bags wasn't enough. Three was a recommendation for adults! This worked for a short time before the chair began to sink. So we added more beans. In fact, we had to use most of the fourth pocket. ** I would advise you to buy a chair that is ALREADY full or doesn't need to be filled.
