it's only been 1 day but so far it's working fine. Easy to connect. Installed on my boat for my 9.9hp Yamaha 4 stroke. Connected 12V+ and the light on the pickup to a switched 12V+ on my Yamaha (I have remotes). What I didn't understand is that the backlight is red, I was expecting white. I don't care as I'll be replacing the existing 194 sensor bulbs with red LEDs anyway. Lots of adjustments for up and down sensor accuracy. Not sure if it works for 2am as others have stated. Hope it lasts, we'll see. (Update) That's a piece of crap. Hasn't worked since the first week I received it. No matter where I make the settings, the sensor is everywhere. I set it to idle, then I run the engine to 3000 rpm and it reads 1100. So I put it on high, then let it idle and the gauge shows about 2500 rpm at idle. Caliber jumps all over the place when running. I give up. GOOD LUCK WHAT WORKS! Buy maybe 10 of these and keep the 1 that works and return the rest.
