Review on Wrangler Authentics Sleeve Waffle Henley: Quality Men's Clothing Shirts by Dylan Hohd

This is my favorite waffle long sleeve shirt (surprisingly hard to find btw) and I've had it for years. First of all, the price of this shirt has increased by about $5 over the past year (steady $14.99 for years) and I understand that the cost of materials, manufacturing and distribution is only going to increase and I am willing to pay a little more for a quality shirt . However, the last two shirts I ordered were total disappointments. The solid brown buttons seen in the black model's photo have been replaced with smaller, thinner, dark gray buttons with Wrangle lettering. The real problem is that the actual material of the shirt is significantly thinner than before (feels about 30% thinner than before) and has an annoying scratchy quality while lacking "depth". Wrangler has lowered the price for quality significantly. This shirt has a price increase and I am very disappointed. This reminds me a lot of the leap in quality that was a fundamental feature of the Great Recession era. I will be switching to Wolverine for future bookings.
