I've had these headphones for about 4 years now. Sound quality is good for headphones under $30. I'm starting to see issues mentioned in other reviews. These headphones are used in the office several times a week. The first thing to do was the plug. My cable appears to be broken in the connector. I replaced the connector, although it is very difficult to solder super flexible wires, and the headphones continue to work normally. Then the coating on the cord began to peel off. It happens when the cable comes into contact with my skin. Apparently the oil from the skin causes the material to decompose. Speaking of materials, the padding on the earbuds is starting to peel off. It's only a matter of time before the pads come off as others have reported. There's a reason these headphones are being discontinued. I believe they are not up to Sennheiser standards and quality issues will hurt the brand. Overall, I'm not upset because I knew there had to be a compromise when paying <$30 for Sennheiser headphones. That trade-off, obviously, is how long they last. I'll probably dig them further into the ground and then buy better Sennheiser headphones.
