This worked perfectly for my GH5s. I've used it when I'm recording on my desktop (either filming a talking head or conducting an online meeting as a webcam). This allows me to record/stream continuously for a long time. I even forgot to turn the camera off a few times during the night and the camera stayed on for a full 10 hours with no issues (although I don't recommend that). My only caveat is to remember that if the power goes out, so does your video. You can connect it to the UPS for important recordings.
