bought a gray set and it's a nice color and fabric too. Before use, follow the pre-wash instructions. However, I did tumble dry on a low cycle, which caused a slight ripple effect on one edge. According to the instructions, that was to be expected. Nothing to complain about, I think after the next wash it will go away. If you're used to using a thicker washcloth, you'll immediately notice the difference: when you've used facial steam, there isn't enough fabric to hold the heat. BUT the fabric holds a lot of water and lends itself very well to a gentle scrub. Compromise. I really like that this fabric allows me to wring it out really well and get a much quicker drying time which reduces the odor that comes from leaving the fabric too dry. Yes I recommend if you clearly understand what you want and expect. If you want fat luxury, look elsewhere. oh, and I love how little storage space they take up. While I miss steaming my face for long periods of time, I don't miss the mildew smell.
