Review on GreenIVe Handcrafted Hemp Bar Soap, Small Handmade Batches, Moisturize And Cleanse (Single Pack) by Mike Ramani

I was excited to try this handcrafted hemp bar soap from GreenIVe. I ordered and received a single bar of soap that arrived nicely boxed with a design definitely stressing the fact that hemp is its main ingredient along with coconut oil, shea, and essential oils. The soap is made in small batches in Idaho with materials sourced from Canadian farmers.The oval shape of the 4-ounce soap is unique but not unheard of. The soap has very defined edges that are a little difficult to hold in the shower, though after a few days of use I've gotten used to it. The soap has a light lather to it that feels very smooth and clean. I will admit that I wish it had a bit more of a lather to it, though I like the fact that it feels clean and doesn't really leave a film after use.The soap washes off easily. There's a scent to that feels very subtle to it and doesn't have much in the way of staying power. While I don't want a soap that overpowers me, I do want one that leaves me feeling clean all day and I'd really prefer that the scent linger longer than this soap does.I do get the sense that this soap moisturizes fairly well. It's noted as being good for all skin types and it has done well with my sensitive skin. I haven't had any skin integrity concerns or rashes form.Overall, this is really just a mid-range experience for me. I can't say I dislike the soap at all, though it also never really distinguishes itself as a soap I have to have. I'm not sure I'll buy it again, though I think it will likely please most fans of hemp-based soaps and I do like that the soap has solid durability. It's not melting away in my shower.While I don't picture this soap becoming a regular part of my daily routine, when I'm looking for hemp-based products it's one I would consider. It's not quite what I'm looking for in a soap, but for those wanting a more natural, earthy soap that moisturizes this is worth considering.
