Review on Tommy Hilfiger Adaptive Signature T Shirt Men's Clothing by Junee Mauck

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not as accessible as I thought.

I bought two of these for my 97 year old uncle because he recently had a stroke. His left arm is difficult to bend due to pain and contractures/spastic muscles . The only part of this shirt that allows more access is the neck. This gives about 4" of extra room. I wasn't expecting that and maybe I didn't read the description or other reviews carefully enough. I've had a lot of success with T- Full access snap on shirts They are meant for recovery from shoulder surgery but they snap in the shoulders and sides which is perfect for my needs What I need is a shirt that has the shoulder seam fully open so that I can button the sleeve back up when I have the shirt on his body It didn't really work for me but I bought more than I needed I can these shirts still wear it, it just takes a lot longer to get him on as I have to put an arm through before tucking his head in the shirt. The shirt is very soft and looks great. If you have someone who has good arm reach, this should work for you. If you need more room than a standard shirt to fit these sleeves I would order a size up.

Pros
  • For size M: Front length: 31 inches from shoulder to hem. Sleeve Length: 18" from center back neck.
Cons
  • Fits
