I have purchased several different versions of this type of product and they are all roughly the same. The part that keeps most people from losing their Apple Pencil cap is better than most I've bought. The cap is very easy to remove and sometimes gets lost even with one of these cap holders. I usually put a dab of hot glue on the cap before putting the string on the pencil. I had to buy another Apple Pencil as my second one stopped charging due to being dropped many times. I forget he's on my stomach, I stand up and he falls to the ground. So I'm a lot more careful about throwing away this new one that I only bought about two weeks ago. The only thing I took off a star for is the tip guard. I don't use it and wanted to give it to my husband as it's getting to the point where it doesn't work as well as it originally did. Unfortunately, the tip protector isn't sharp like a pencil, it's shaped like a block. I have no idea how beneficial it would be to have such a large blocky design. It is what it is. It works for what I need it for. I had to buy two replacement caps from Revain as I lost my original pencil cap the first week. The cap I ordered from Revain was actually stronger than the original and a lot cheaper.
