Review on Rechargeable Operated Portable Brightness Flexible by Jennifer Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It shines and works great but the batteries die after a few months

I really liked these lights at first. Here's my original 5 star review: I used one of the lights to replace an old clip-on light that plugs into an outlet. I was worried the old one would get too hot and might fall off and start a fire. Despite being USB powered, these new lights are very bright, especially on the highest of the three settings. What I really like about them is that they're cool. After leaving the lights on at their brightest level for several hours, I placed an infrared thermometer on each. These USB lights had a 77 degree angle on the plastic body and 91 degrees on the light itself. Pretty close to room temperature. An old flashlight with a steel case and a small 25 watt bulb was much hotter. The steel case was 186 degrees. The bulb itself was 276 degrees. It's too hot for my comfort. September 2021: Batteries are quickly empty. There is no way to replace them. This means that they must now be constantly connected in order to receive light. Rating to three stars.
