Got this after my local stereo store wanted to charge me $600 for a remote start install. After reading the reviews, I skipped the written installation instructions and watched YouTube videos instead. I'm not a mechanic and was able to do this in about an hour. The hardest part was the passenger side connection due to the tight fit in my arm. The pros are that it works and I saved myself $400. The downsides are that you need to set your cadence correctly when you press the remote for it to work. Otherwise I'm satisfied - I got what I needed. I can even drive my truck from my third floor office window to the parking lot below. Nice to have a warm car on a frosty day!
