I'm the type of person who doesn't need to wear glasses 100%. When I'm not wearing them, I put them in my shirt pocket or hang them on my collar. If I leaned forward for any reason, they would fall to the floor from where I had placed them, often scratching the lenses. Eventually I started buying cheap readers from the pharmacy because it was expensive to damage my prescription glasses. Then my wife gave me some of these for Christmas. You were awesome. Attaches to any shirt quickly and easily without damaging clothing. This device has never dropped my glasses on the floor. I finally lost my stash after a few years. They have magnetic properties, so they will be attracted to a steel object that you can bring to your chest. For me it was things like working on a car, transporting a washing machine, storing golf clubs. Oh, and leave them on your shirt to wash (look in the washer and dryer). That's how you end up losing them. They don't wear out or break. I just bought another three pack because once you use them you will never want to part with them. People I know have seen mine and bought fakes, mostly because I couldn't remember who made mine when they asked me about it. Apparently fakes don't live long. They're the most expensive (they're originals), but like I said, as long as you don't lose them, they'll last forever. If you're tired of dropping your glasses or forgetting you're wearing them, grab them and your glasses will always be safe and easily accessible. This is not an advertisement. I'm just a happy user, glad someone invented them.
