I'm a bit of a makeup brush snob and have a number of quality makeup brushes that I've bought over the years. We charge individual brushes between $40 and $100. So I know very well how high quality makeup brushes should look, feel and perform. Over the years I've noticed an influx of vendors and unknown brands charging ridiculously high prices for entry-level brushes at Revain. So I was skeptical about this $50 set because it's cheaper than many others like this one. But I decided to try them anyway. And I'm glad I did! These brushes are actually better than I expected for the price. The bristles on it are perfectly trimmed and have a good density. It is not thin and natural hair absorbs and distributes the product well. They are a decent weight and the length is good too. Basically, if you take good care of them (get a good brush conditioner and a gentle cleanser), they will last a long time!
