We ordered two hats to take on vacation to the Caribbean and then to Florida. This one fits better than the other from the start and has a mechanism inside that allows you to adjust the hat to the correct size. It was perfect. We ended up using it almost every day and it has now made it through sand, salt water, pool water and so on. The reverse function is also quite decent. Most of the time we kept our daughter's hat pink, but last week I conveniently flipped it to match the outfit she was wearing.
