This bulk load of 50 Coco Coir Bricks is one of the best I have ever used. My previous favorite brand discontinued production, and I was forced to research other brands in an attempt to find one that matched or exceeded the quality and ease of use of my previous brand. I found it.and it exceeded my expectations by a long shot!The product comes in manageable bricks, rather than the large 5-10lb packed coir of most brands. That makes it extremely easy to work with and to expand only as much as you need without having to chop into larger packs and creating a mess!The bricks expand with room-temperature water without any issues and there are simply no artifacts, stones, or other problems with this coir. Throroughly cleaned and sifted before compression, it is ready to use immediately upon expansion.I mix the coir with vermiculite to provide a bit of additional airiness and have found it highly useful for both seedlings as well as transplanting. Perfect for container gardening or Grow Tents. (I use it for both purposes). A pinch of Mycorrhizae Inoculant below transplants in the coir produces extremely strong rooting and establishment without issues.As a very avid gardner, I grow a LOT of various plants.both from seeds and from transplants. This coir has clearly performed exceedingly well and will now be my go-to when I need more. Easy handling, easy expansion, free of contaminants and trash, and excellent moisture retention.
