Too small for normal oil pens.

I was looking for something simple and clean to store oil. I don't like paying twice as much for long, thin sticks of oil (like Land O Lake's oil). So I buy regular cheap oil. this ranges from $2 to $3. These "regular" or "regular" oil sticks will NOT fit properly. They are too high for the lubricator cap even if you try to break it. Also, there are absolutely no knobs or protrusions or any way to help you lift the lubricator cap (lid). The sides and ALL corners are rounded and smooth. Even if you mash the butter or cut out the top and sides of the butter stick, it's quite difficult to lift the lid to get to the butter. I tried using it for about 2 months but finally gave up and went back to using a scratched stainless steel butter dish my mom bought from Goodwill. Buy this ONLY if you use long, thin sticks of butter and don't mind lifting the smooth, rounded lid hard. TERRIBLE DESIGN!
