Great way to use wasted space
I went back and forth to buy a plastic item or this one with mesh pockets. Finally got around to it and glad I did. Since I bought two packs, I placed one on the back of the 30" master bedroom closet door and the other in the guest bedroom closet. I used screws and washers to attach it through the four grommets at the top of the door. than hanging it over a door with the included hardware, so I can't tell you how it works. But it works great - holds up to 40 pounds, looks great and stays in place. And all my shoes fit in my pockets.
