The scent is light and soft in my opinion. It's kind of floral. The box is beautiful. The only thing I don't like is that the pouf doesn't have a strap or loop to pick it up. Don't worry, really. You can simply insert a large diaper pin or other pin as a handle. Before I thought about it, I bought other poufs, fluffier and with a bow at the top. The packaging states that the powder is made from cornstarch. And as for the paper inside that covers the powder. I remember many years ago (1950's and 60's) powder powder always had this paper. You only cut off about half of it so you don't end up with too much on the puff pastry, and if there's still more on the puff pastry than you'd like, just tap the side that has paper left on it to get rid of the excess to remove. I think most people will like this product. Of course I know that.
