I used the original G502 for years before the Hero came out and then switched to the M65 which I liked. I've been looking for the best WIRELESS gaming mouse. I BOUGHT AND RETURNED: G703, G902, G PRO, G502 LS, Dark Core, Razer Mamba and Viper. I would stick with the Viper even if it was too small for my large right hand. Until I saw the release of Basilisk Ultimate. Came back, Viper tried Basilisk and now my new wireless setup is complete. This is a real killer G502, if you bought the G502LS return it and buy this one. The mouse pointer is better to press than the G502 and Basilisk's PTFE feet glide so smoothly/feel better in the hand and the RBS works great with all wireless mice and weighs less on top of that with no issues with double click and RBG charging . Docking Station I really like the IDEA of the thumb clutch/paddle knob, but wish this part was longer. I would go for the lower battery option if it could bring it down to 99g or less. The adjustable scroll wheel resistance is fantastic. Idea to compete with Logitech's freewheel. Now every company should be using PTFE foot glides. Good job Razer. Razer Synapse 3 works fine, no software issues. Macros/KeybindingsWi-Fi 2.4 Hyperspeed Wireless is great NO SLOW DOWN as always. I mostly use an NVIDIA SHEILD TV and play OVERWATCH or when I'm working from home/laptop. Since I'm using an Nvidia Shield to play Overwatch, I need to map the side mouse buttons to a number/letter for it to work in the Shield game. It works fine and macros too. You must save all settings in the ON-BOARD MEMORY. I wish I had more than 5 profiles but I'm glad I have 5 and not just 1-3. I am very disappointed that there are no RBG lighting settings stored in onboard memory. A few simple storage options would also be appreciated. Wow... The Basilisk ProsHyperspeed Wireless - ZERO SCREENPLACE and 100% superior RGB charging dock is just PERFECT, what a great feature. PTFE mouse feet glide best. All mice should come with it. Very good fit for my right large hand. I like the thumb rest. Clutch/paddle button (sniper) is pressed EXCELLENT. The side buttons are larger than the Viper buttons. FEEL GREAT Adjustable scroll wheel resistance (Logitech's scrolling is even better) The left/right wheel buttons are very comfortable. I use them for some macros, the lighting is absolutely beautiful! Onboard memory 5 basilisk profiles Cons! Onboard memory does NOT store RBG lighting settings =( WTF WHY? Clutch button part can be LONGER or longer than additional parts (still better than G502) Not USB-C (never mind as there is a charging station) No Large bluetooth scroll wheel Some fingerprints show weight (could be lighter - #1 point of improvement) PRICE (But $170 with a dock is cheaper than buying a G502LS with a charging mat) October 2020 and the mouse works great for me, I dropped the mouse on the floor a few times with no problems, still works fantastic.
