I would never buy this product if I knew it wasn't a region 1 console. This should be bold in the description so that people in different parts of the world can be sure that they are getting a console that is compatible with the region they live in. I've looked at many other descriptions for other Xbox consoles and didn't notice any of them indicating region, so be sure to ask before buying a game console online.
