This table is good for the price. It is durable and not that difficult to assemble. I want to buy a smaller table. I wouldn't say that someone without knowledge will be able to assemble it well. I didn't like driving the screws into the faux wood cross members because they didn't go straight in at first. I kept screwing them out and screwing them back in, trying to straighten them out, afraid I would pull out the pre-drilled holes. The metal frame doesn't fit perfectly and I was afraid it wouldn't be square, but it was. Some of the silver screws holding the faux wood table top to the metal frame wouldn't tighten, so I figured I could get them out. But agreed. I should have paid more money and gotten a better table. I'd rather pay more than get angry. But it will do the trick. I would not stand on it and put any heavy objects on it. For all light this will get the job done.
