This placemat is of decent quality. The wood feels solid and is well finished unlike many prefabricated compressed wood products. The assembly was fairly easy, but you should study the illustrations carefully before twisting the parts. Some details look the same. Small differences such as B. the placement of the holes, can make a big difference during the assembly process. So my advice is to study the diagrams very carefully before each step. The rest of the build went smoothly and I was able to do it myself. What I don't like is the height of the device. The tabletop itself is a decent size when open, but the low height of the stools and table base make this unit look like it was designed with kids or hobbits in mind, rather than adults. Even the stools look small. They can be used as a last resort if you need extra seating, but I think eating all of the food at that table would be impractical. I should have paid more attention to the measurements before ordering. I will blame myself for this. If you are looking for a cute little table then this might be for you. But measure your living space and then compare it with the size of the product before you buy it.
