Following the tradition of my mother and older sisters, I keep buying the same watch! The battery is usually longer than a watch strap, but I can usually last a couple of years, which for $15 isn't bad. Good price. It's not the prettiest watch, but it's not the ugliest either; This is the ultimate everyday Pragmatic watch. They're not bulky, unobtrusive, comfortable, easy to keep clean, and water-resistant (they've never been exposed to water after washing dishes or taking a shower). And they have a little timer function that no other simple clock has! I use the timer almost every day. for cooking, remembering and negotiating with children. "Johnny takes the toy for 3 minutes, when my watch beeps it's Danny's turn!" I have a smartphone, but it's *not* as handy as having a watch that's part of my body. And I'm too old-fashioned for smartwatches. :D I hope they never stop releasing them.
