The shelf is strong enough. Assembly is more difficult than necessary. The image shown here is overexposed. Expect a darker shade but still beautiful. The design is superior to almost anything on the market. Overall good value for money. The back wall bothers me the most. They give you cheap chipboard more associated with high school science shows. I would pay a little more for a matching wooden back panel to match the rest of the shelf. The flaw makes the shelf seem like a one-time use rather than something you might see for a long time. Another thing: they had to provide extra wall anchors. One anchor really isn't enough. You can go and buy your own, but that's a hassle. For pennies in pieces, they could add an extra or two.
