Very comfortable, with one downside. Maybe more. Let's see

So, like many of us, working from home has become the new normal. At home I had a relatively comfortable office chair, but sitting 8 hours a day showed its age and lack of ergonomic qualities that I really need. If I work in an office, Herman Miller has provided office chairs. don't realize the quality of these chairs until you've gone a long time without them. But there is no way I would pay such an exorbitant amount. For most of my career in the office, one has come to expect some basic assumptions about chairs, and that's where this chair is missing an important "feature". install it. Now it works when you have weight on the chair. former. When you recline, the seat tilts back and forth freely. The left lever lets you "lock" the tilt, but once you push it with your back and then lean back, it tilts fully. Tilt. Unlike traditional office chairs, you can lock it in a comfortable position and only when you press a switch or lever does it return to the fully reclined position. It does NOT allow you to do this. Once you take your weight off your back, it returns to full incline. Once you let go of the position, he'll let you rock back and forth until the cows come home. I think that's a big disadvantage, to be honest. I don't want to sit in the chair, lean back a little and pull the lever to lock it, and then hold that position to keep the locked position. That's the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars now. Everything else about this chair is great so far. BUT. I'll be back in a few months to report back on my progress and see if anything else has changed. XEUR - If I'm doing anything wrong with locking rearward tilt, please let me know. On the other hand, people want to be able to permanently fix the tilt of the chair. and if they want, they can unlock it to a different incline position, so you don't have to constantly pull the left handlebar to temporarily hold the incline while you shift your weight to your back. This is an office chair. Not a gaming chair to keep our big gaming asses kicking back all the time. Damn. .
