It's pretty easy to figure out the different settings and functions, which is good as the manual is useless. Two real downsides: 1) The preview screen doesn't rotate the display until it's fully rotated, making it less useful unless you're directly in front of the camera. 2) The quality of the produced video is the same. less than you would expect from a 1080p "Full HD" camera. Much better than my old one but still nowhere near the quality I was expecting. I think there might be some kind of overcompression.
