I've had this water bottle for about 3 weeks now and use it every day. I didn't drop it because I try to be careful when transporting it. We all know what happens when we drop an object made of glass. My expectations were low which made it even more exciting when I received it and realized it was thick glass and fade resistant! The inside of the lid is plastic with a silicone insert on top to ensure no leakage. I haven't had any leaks or problems with the lid. I also don't toss it upside down in my purse or lean against my side just in case. Nothing is 100% leakproof or breaks if dropped.
