Review on KRIPOL 8 Pack AAA NIMH Rechargeable Batteries - 1000mAh 1.2V for Panasonic Cordless Phone by Chris Sharma

They only show the time and numerous charge/discharge cycles, but so far it works

Overview of 8 AAA NIMH batteries, Kripol 1000 mAh 1.2V Replacement battery for Panasonic cordless phone, 1500 cycles The replacement battery has 1500 charge/discharge cycles, but this can only be verified over a long period of time. I've had issues with rechargeable batteries that only last a few charge/discharge cycles, so I generally prefer established brands. There's also a time component, but due to the lack of a manufacturing date I can't determine how long they will last on battery power. I am currently using three in a foam stick and they have survived two cycles so far. Also temporarily plugged two of these into the remote, which worked. I'm not an electrical or electronics engineer, so I previously researched performance in terms of voltage difference between Li-Ion at 1.5VDC and NiMH at 1.2VDC. It started with some articles received that made it clear that rechargeable batteries would not work in their device, or at least that they did not promise or support that they would work. Although many or most devices ignore the difference, problems can arise: • A device with its own clock functions is less likely to keep time on lower voltage NiMH batteries • If three or more batteries are required for a device, then lower voltage NiMH is added and can cause problems. Accordingly, I have decided to only use rechargeable batteries in small devices such as remote controls, my wireless thermometers, etc.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Upgradeable
