Updated speaker software ready to go. This update causes the device to turn on randomly. Posts on the Bose community page show that many people had the same problem and Bose engineers did not solve this problem with the software. Obviously the new software is for those using two such expensive speakers together. A software bug is causing a speaker to accidentally turn on when the base station's Bluetooth is on. The sound of my Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker 3 is superior to this speaker. The previous Soundlink 3 (discontinued) has the best sound - stereo. I'll just go back to the previous model, which plays well anyway. I sent back this disappointing speaker.
