Because of this you don't get clear sound. I use it in my car, plugging my iPhone 12 into Aux to play music and charge. There is a very faint humming noise when the volume is turned up. You will also get random noise here and there. Static is worse when using both 3.5mm and charging. If you only need audio playback above 3.5mm, I would recommend an official Apple dongle. I think if you need to charge and listen to music at the same time, this is a good choice. But if you're looking for amazing sound quality, this isn't it.
