I would highly recommend this drone to anyone looking to start drone racing indoors. The main feature that makes flying easier is the altitude lock (keeps altitude, which is very important especially for beginners). The fact that it comes with a 2.4GHz controller also makes it easier to get up and running compared to launching the app each time (you can still launch the app to see the first-person camera view). FPV mode supports VR headset mode, which is pretty cool (but it's hard to fly as the camera is tilted down a bit). The drone doesn't hold its position very well on launch, so you'll need to properly calibrate the offset and rotation offsets to achieve this (it doesn't have a visual positioning system like other, more expensive mini-drones). The controller's range is excellent (better than app-only drones) and the battery life is pretty decent too. I've tried many mini drones and I can safely say that this is one of the best mini drones out there (especially considering the price).
