The material is soft but does not wash well and does not react well to fleece blankets. The "fluff" of the blanket sticks to all sheets and pillowcases, it is almost impossible to remove them, only a nap roller helps, but not all. It started peeling off after the second wash. At this point my 2 year old had an allergy due to lint on the sheets and the pills were annoying. I have used this fleece blanket with several other baby sheets and this has never happened. So I was upset when it happened with this new set because I was afraid of Mr. Baby's reaction. Leaves retain color very well, practically do not stain. I would not recommend sheets or buy another set. Disappointed, can no longer use sheets or pillowcases.
