Gift to a colleague who had a birthday. It's louder than his phone alone. Not sure if it will advertise the full distance we operate but let's be honest. This is a commercial kitchen with lots of metal and tile walls along with ovens and full size dishwashers. These items drop a lot of energy. But the speaker got it right. I think I saw another review that said the buttons were pretty dim (and hard to see). But once we've seen the position, it's easy to correct. This is a wonderful article.
