They're pretty comfortable but they scratch my ankles, almost every new shoe hurts my ankles first. They are durable and great for wearing in the water. I've already carried her to the lake. I usually wear a women's size 5, but the first pair I bought in a large child's size 5 was too big. I then measured my foot and ordered a size 3 for small kids which is still a bit big but not that bad so I kept it to myself. I recommend them and can't wait to keep wearing them.
