First off, I'm almost 5ft 2in tall and heavy. I bought the XXL on purpose because I wanted it to be loose fitting so I could wear sweaters or just snuggle up to my coat. It's good for that. Of course it's longer for me than in the photo. The bottom latch didn't work and Columbia didn't help when I called customer service, but I was able to purchase a larger latch online and replace it. The coat is not as warm as I expected but goes well with a thin wool sweater.
