Saved my modem: Surge Protector

I bought them back in Florida during the Summer storm season. In November we had a strong thunderstorm band and strong lightning occurred. One of the bolts hit the pole, severely damaging the equipment on the pole. So bad that the ISP had to come twice to fix damaged equipment and cables and a third visit is planned to fix problems later. This suppressor single-handedly prevented my modem from burning down with it. Definitely recommended if you have something that works with standard coax connections, be it an ISP or TV.
