Durio toddler sun hat on test: It could be better

As a parent who understands the importance of sun protection for toddlers, I was excited to try the Durio toddler sun hat. While it looks classy and offers ample coverage thanks to its wide brim, it's lacking in some places. First, the size seems a little off. I ordered size 12-24 months for my 18 month old son and it was very comfortable on his head. I'm afraid it won't be worn much longer which is a shame as the hat is otherwise well made and durable. Navy blue is also attractive but shows dirt and stains easily. I had to work harder than I would like to make it look clean. On the positive side, the hat stays on my naughty toddler's head very well thanks to the adjustable chin strap. It's also light and breathable, so he doesn't complain about wearing it in the heat. Overall I think the Durio toddler sun hat has a lot of potential but I can only give it three stars due to sizing and color issues. With some modifications this could be a five star product.

Pros
  • A very cute hat. Size 2-6X is perfect for my petite 4 year old granddaughter.
Cons
  • Limited size availability. This product is only intended for babies aged 12 to 24 months. Parents with younger or older children may not find this product suitable.
