Like many tech pros, I've been working from home for a few days now. Many of my responsibilities involved communicating with clients, resulting in many hours of meetings per day and the need for a headset. Wireless headsets are fine and I will use them when needed, but I prefer a wired headset for its reliability e.g. usually removed from them. The problem with many wired headsets is that they assume you're going to be using them on a mobile device, so the cables are short and prone to unwanted tangles, not the Quantum or Sandra Bullock kind, therefore undesirable. One solution would of course be to use an audio extension cord, but like trusting your naughty friend who set you up, this has some very inconsistent and often disastrous sides. -Effects. So I gave up on them a long time ago. Enter the extra-long headphones for TV and PC with a 12-foot extension cable with a spring-loaded coil. This product does not suffer from the disadvantages mentioned above. It is connected directly so that the sound and volume are top notch. Headphones are set at a slight angle, so knowing which is left and which is right is natural. A 12 inch coiled cable allows me to sit at my desk and the cable doesn't get in the way. I can also get up and walk around my office when the meeting is as stressful as arguing over phrases like "I just want people to like me!". One last thing: there are small magnets inside the earbuds. That way you can chain them together when not in use so they don't get tangled up in something unwanted the next time you see them. . .unlike this particular example. I highly recommend this product.
