Review on L'Oreal Paris Skincare Hydra Genius: Oil-Free Face Moisturizer for Normal to Oily Skin with Hyaluronic Acid & Aloe Water, 3.04 fl. oz. by Joe Whitman

I ordered this on a whim as I keep trying different lotions and none of them work. Organic, inorganic, gel, cream, "water". Expensive (original - $35) or not (regular - $7). This is the best I have found for my skin which is very oily on the forehead but dry on the cheeks and pimples always appear on the jawline. It's easy to apply and absorbs quickly, which I really like. The smell is minimal, it's not a problem for me, I don't mind strong smell although it's not perfumed. I applied it in the evening after washing my face and when I woke up my skin was still hydrated, no new breakouts and no shine. The skin is still clean, not greasy or sticky. It stays on my skin for about 12 hours before I can apply more but I don't feel like my skin desperately needs more as it seems to absorb well. I definitely like the glass bottle, it looks expensive and solid, it would certainly be bad for travel. The product wasn't damaged and it was great, I was worried about buying it online with other things that might not have been packaged well. I wish they made a body lotion like this. I know there is an aqueous body gel but I had an allergic reaction to it so I was pleasantly surprised by it. Looks like that's going to be a while too.
