I ordered this chair to use in the book corner. At first we thought we had received a chair that was missing parts (legs and screws). We noticed that the bottom fabric closure is closed and the details are tucked away in this compartment. The chair comes with everything you need to assemble it. The directions were a bit vague. I gave it to my 10 year old to collect. She assembled a lot of furniture but found it a daunting task considering the holes are hard to see and things have to line up. It took about half an hour to assemble, an adult should be able to do it in much less time. The end result is a stable chair with a firm upholstery. It sits a bit low for me (a 5'11" woman) but is perfect for my kids.
