Bought to replace blown lightbulbs in a KitchenAid fridge. I chose them because they are written specifically for "a fridge or range hood". They fit perfectly but don't glow. I emailed the manufacturer's customer service and they suggested prying forward the pin on the bottom of the socket. This was very difficult because my fridge has a plastic part that blocks access, but I was able to move it forward a bit. Now it works. Although this light has an E17 base, the plastic body protrudes a little at a 90 degree angle, which made installation difficult in my case. All's well that ends well.
