As expected, the first place this toy went in my 9 month old baby's mouth was. And almost immediately paint began to crumble from his mouth. It has 4 teeth and could easily scratch the paint. Thinking it was an isolated case, I tested it with my fingernail and it came off with no effort. We didn't really look at the product, we just thought it was cute. But now that I've read more reviews and see others reporting the same issue, I think Munchkin should consider recalling this item. It's really cute and the bathing action is fun, but we don't want our kid to choke on paint, toxic or not.
