I can't speak to the durability of this bag as I only received it today BUT I can already say that this bag is a keeper is. First, I'm an animation student in college. All I ever need is a notebook, some art pens, my sketchbook, my laptop and my digital drawing tablet. This bag easily fits these items as well as some of my other items (a snack, a water bottle on the side, and some women's items). It's pretty roomy and the material itself feels good. My laptop is an Acer Predator Helios 300 with a 15.6 inch screen. If you measure left to right it is approximately 15 inches wide. It sits very firmly in this bag, which is what I like about it. I don't want my computer to switch gears too often during the day. PLEASE NOTE: Any large laptop is sure to rip through this bag. It fits perfectly in a laptop bag and you probably don't want to put extra pressure on the seams. I bought this bag for about $20 which is a STEAL for such a good bag.
