It works as advertised. You must use the downloadable settings app to change the buttons to a combination or specific function. I set them to an odd combination that will most likely never be used, then set up zoom shortcuts for each button to make it easier to activate the camera and mic and raise your hand. This is for an older friend who is taking a week-long Zoom course and is making it easier for her to connect and interact with other members. The only reason I took off a star is because 1. it didn't come with a cable and 2. it's not USB-C, it's micro-USB
