I thought it would take a long time to create waves in my hair. I have very thick hair and it only took a few minutes. The results are exactly as described. I have great waves that last all day even in very windy conditions outside. I was able to use this product faster than a curling iron designed for beachy waves. The only issue I had was that the power button was easy to press when using it, although it didn't turn it off, it just increased the temperature. It wasn't important to me, just something to keep in mind. Overall, I highly recommend this item.
