I almost didn't order these based on other reviews but I couldn't find any others in this size and style. True, they are generally not removed in the usual way. In the past I've learned a trick with similar materials which I've tried with these. It worked and they started with no problems. I haven't lost any. First cut the packaging so it doesn't stick to the stickers and remove it. Then loosen the edge somewhere. It was more difficult than usual, but with patience I made it. The desired layer is very thin and transparent. No white, it's too deep. Once you start, gently remove this sticky edge from both sides and discard. You have to go slow and hold some letters while dragging. I've found that short, quick puffs, like removing a band-aid, work best. It took quite a while, but after it's taken off, just poke a nail under the letter you want and it comes off instantly. The letters were very sticky and attractive. I used them for wedding signs and was very happy with them. I didn't give 5 stars because it took longer than usual to remove the surround sound. I would buy them again if I needed them. Before the method above, I tried to remove a letter normally and it came off along with the paper backing. It's still not destroyed. I dampened the white paper on the back and then tore off the edge of the paper with my fingernail. After removing it, I still had the perfect sticky email. The selling price is good. I wouldn't pay more for them.
