Review on πŸ‹οΈ Fisher-Price Perfect Sense Deluxe Gym: Exploring Sensory Development in Style by Kimberly Perry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice plush mat, cute motif, but more toys needed

Well, this treadmill has many advantages and only a few small disadvantages. I like the theme of forest animals. It is acceptable for any gender, which is always nice. It has bright colors that small children can easily see and distinguish. And I like the idea of using all five senses. The rug is surprisingly soft and comfortable, especially on the "fur" side. It was very easy to set up. You basically take it out of the box and the bows are already attached. That's fine if you plan on just wiping it down, but not so convenient if you plan on tossing it in the washing machine first (which you can do). In this case I like that the otter toy is battery operated because another playroom I owned had a cute little toy that played music but when it died there was no way to revive it. I even contacted the manufacturer to see if I could order another one. And it has both light and music. In fact, the main downside, in my opinion, is that I feel like it should have more toys. There are five of them, one for each sense. One of them is a small mirror. There are extra hooks so you can add some, but it just looks a bit bare the way it is. The pillow is a bit unusual for the stomach. I think it would work better if it had more hardness and a curved shape. It's just that it's a bit clumsy. It does not come with the required AA batteries for the otter toy.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Makes me crazy
