Superb video recording with 5D mk ii

I was hesitant when I found this card at such a low price. Other alternatives to Sandisk cost at least double the price for half the capacity. Well, if you have an SLR and want to record videos with it, that shouldn't be a problem. I'm shooting on a 5D mkII with custom firmware called Magic Lantern. It is installed directly on the card (which this card is compatible with). Among other things, this program allows you to increase the bit rate of the video. Increasing the bit rate will make files larger and exceed the speed limits of your cards. With this card and camera, I was able to shoot at a compression rate of 135% (100% is the default compression standard allowed by Canon's software) without a single buffer break! In terms of taking photos, this card does a great job of burst shooting and loads fairly quickly on my computer (if download speed is important, get a USB3 card reader with a deep card slot for $16 PixelFlash USB 3.0 no-bend pins here Compact Flash Memory SuperSpeed CF Adapter memory card reader) It's very well made and feels solid and for the price I can't fault it. This card is amazing and if you are looking for it just stop looking and get it. Rubbing this card with bacon doesn't affect its flavor either. It still tastes great. Pros: Great price for speed. The reliable one is still sold by Amazon so returns won't be a problem if it breaks. UPDATE starts somewhere (July 2013) No reliability issues so far. I still love this card and will be ordering 2 more.
